Checklist
Bar/Bat Mitzvahs are exciting but to pull off a great day what you really need is meticulous planning and attention to detail. In practice there are to many tasks to keep everything in your head at once so it helps to have a checklist to keep you on track. - Set the date (based on child’s Birthday)
- Create a guest list
- Book venue/ Synagogue
- Book entertainment
- Book Caterers
- Send out invitations
- Make arrangements for out of town guests
- Pick a theme/colour scheme
- Organize decorations/flowers
- Have the Bar/Bat Mitzvah write a speech
- Book a photographer
- Arrange music/entertainment for the party
- Organize a candle lighting ceremony (optional)
- Confirm details with any vendors
- Arrange party favors
